La Fontanilla

At the end of the area known as La Vega a small bridge crosses the Árrago river and the path passes through the wall of greenery which grows beside it, arriving at the natural recreation area of La Fontanilla. An excellent spot, surrounded by nature, this area takes its name from the spring, fuente in Spanish, with its crystal clear water.
An old terraced olive orchard with stone walls has been repurposed to include a small park, excercise equipement for elderly people, various wells and several reconstructed traditional-style huts. All this lies in the shade of the riverside vegetation and some olive trees.
